Hey peeps I found a 1970 240 sitting behind this guys house. He is going to sell it to me for about 1500 bucks the car has no rust except for a little on the surface the inside is almost perfect. It does have a chevy small block installed in it. All the parts are there to make it a complete car again. Question...Is this a good find? From just looking at the car yesterday, the body is in good shape with no dents or bondo. I am sort of new at this game, but I do know enough that whatever the car this seems like a good deal to me.

I'd say it could be easily worth $1500, providing it is not a frankenstein-disaster-project. Can you post pics to give folks a better idea? Did you inquire about the swap and history? Check for rust in framerails, floors, under battery?

Try searching posts on the site about your concerns, alot of this has been addressed before.

Good luck, Jeremiah
