WingZr0 Posted December 7, 2009 Share #13 Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) What about the comfort quality? My 77 seats are a bit tattered and some foam splits but are the most comfortable car seats I ever sat in. So Nice and soft you can sleep in them . Hate to replace them and end up with rock hard seats like in most of these new cars these days. conedodger Posted December 8, 2009 Share #14 Posted December 8, 2009 I forgot to mention, when I did this I purchased a set of two electric seat warmer kits from a guy in Oregon who has a website called Camp914. They are great! 50 degree night with the windows open and heater on low... Heaven! mattbibbey Posted December 19, 2009 Author Share #15 Posted December 19, 2009 Does anyone know if the seat covers are identicle? IE, would it matter if the left cover went on the right seat? Kerrigan Posted December 4, 2014 Share #16 Posted December 4, 2014 Old post but I'll update it anyway. I tried many times and ways to contact Les at Classic Datsun to purchase his seat coverings and foam kit, but never got a reply. Finally went with the kit made by SeatZ and vended via Motorsports. Very good quality. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/34051-replacement-seat-covers-quality/?page=2#findComment-459850 Share on other sites

(Believe it or not, I re-upholstry my car 3-4 times. I am happy with the kit from Classic Datsun including their form kit fro the price. Note: MSA Seat kit do not fit right on seat form kit from Classic Datsun. So I would say their kit are from different manufactures. If you want totaly oroginal, I can get an exact matching ones from Japan for a cost of $450 a set (and use the form from Classic Datsun) I would recommande these on Low VIN cars. Esprist www.jdm-car-parts.com Esprist, Your website shows a set (https://jdm-car-parts.com/collections/interior-trim-nissan-datsun-fairlady-z-240z-260z-280z-280zx/products/datsun-240z-1969-1971-seat-cover-set?variant=1045889564). 1) Are these Distinctive Industries or Seatz manufactued set? 2) Can you provide a link to the "exact matching ones from Japan for a cost of $450 a set"?
