Spindle pin hell

I am about to enter spindle pin hell so before I start am going to build a puller.

Does anyone know the thread size and pitch of the pin itself so I can tap the puller? I've gotten all the other specs I need but this one.

12x1.25, same as the lugnuts.

Thank you,exactly what I needed. Being of the school of thought that thinks it can sense money in my wallet if I put it on the console, I want to get everthing ready before I start so it won't know I'm sneaking up on it til its to late to resist.

try and find a place local that sells the metric threaded rod. If they have it you will probably have to buy a meter long piece.

I was thinking of using SAE threads for everything but the tapped hole for the spindle pin itself,figured parts would be easier to find that way.

Use a nissan lugnut, then weld onto the sae allthread. If you have a thrust bearing from the front suspension, use that between the pipe and pulling nut. It will keep the friction down.

The things you won't need in this pic is the big 3/8" thick spacer I made, and the bronze flange bushing.

Is the hole in that thrust bearing large enough that the lug nut nose fits inside it?

the one I used isn't from the suspension, I bought those and they fit perfect. but the hole in the thrust bearing from the suspension is more than big enough, you will probably have to get a bigger washer.

Easiest way I have found to make the puller is with a 12" piece of 1" all-thread and a 10" piece of 1" black or galvanized pipe. Drill and tap the end of the 1" all-thread for the 12 X 1.25mm thread. A couple hardeded washers and grease and you will be good-to-go. Don't forget to get a 1" nut for the all-thread.
