esprist Posted December 26, 2009 Share #13 Posted December 26, 2009 (edited) 8 Track - Now that's just funny. \---------------------------------------------------------------------- We will have braide radiator hose set available in 2 week of January. Braded heater hoses will be available in Spring as well. (All high quality OEM supplier made in Japan) We have few brand new Heater panels for both 69-72 and 73 in Stock. Braided or non braided brake vacuum hose can be made by yourself or we can custom made one. All of those have been a major investment for us, by the way. We also have few more NOS driver's side 72-73 seat cover mechanism cover in stock. By the way, No purchase obligation here........ If you feel that certain parts are impossible to find NOS or reproduction, check out our web or PM me. There are still many NOS or reproduction parts out there! Or we can reproduce parts in Japan. We know many Nissan Suppliers in Japan that can reproduce parts for us to original spec. Richard Oben Posted December 27, 2009 Share #16 Posted December 27, 2009 Johnny O. I will have your hinge if a 12/71 will work. I have a parts car that is not beyond repair but would need a lot, I mean a whole lot to fix it. I am taking what I need and will have a bunch of stuff to pass on for very reasonable costs but it will be spring before I get that far. Maytin, see above, I will have one of those also. Bonzi I have 3 control panels the best will fit in 9070 and the others will be sold. I have one complete with the OE radio and antenna up down, I was shocked at its good condition. Uncle I have two of the vertical defroster glass, one is missing a tab but I think that would could be repaired. The other is going in 9070. I think having a parts car is going to help a lot of people. Cheers Richard. EVILC Posted January 6, 2010 Share #20 Posted January 6, 2010 Let's see...what's on my list....?Seat shields, definitely. Seat belt hooks - the little metal ones that screwed to the seat. Braided hose brake vacumn line. The fresh air vents in the engine bay.Do you guys think "chrome Z" emblems would sell? How much is a piece of clear hatch glass worth? How about early demister hatch glass? I think Carl Beck owns the record for buying hood inspection clips - $200.Seat shields, definitely.Chris are you talking about a plastic shield at the bottom of the seats out toward the door side?Seat belt hooks I am looking for pics of this. I heard there are two versions of it. I have them both still on my 2/70 car. JohnnyO Posted January 6, 2010 Share #21 Posted January 6, 2010 Johnny O. I will have your hinge if a 12/71 will work. I have a parts car that is not beyond repair but would need a lot, I mean a whole lot to fix it. I am taking what I need and will have a bunch of stuff to pass on for very reasonable costs but it will be spring before I get that far. I appreciate the offer but I am at a point where I need it now. I am going to purchase a parts car (5/70) primarily to get the door hinge. My car is just about ready for paint, just need to remove the suspension.I am not sure that a 12/71 hinge would be the same. I know that a 7/73 hinge was different. The spring was skinnier and the hinge had a double stop. The early series 1 hinges were single stop.Again, thanks for the offer.John Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/34212-what-is-the-hardest-to-find-early-z-car-part/?page=2#findComment-305239 Share on other sites
