OniZ Posted March 21, 2011 Share #13 Posted March 21, 2011 I have a friend that just installed these on his 73 the parts look great and adjustment looks good too, however I did notice that the tension rod might cause issues down the road. Since everything is solid mounted there is no give and the mounting point for the tension rod may need some reinforcement, I could be wrong. But if i was going to install them on my car I would stitch weld that area before installation. WW2Winger Posted March 21, 2011 Share #14 Posted March 21, 2011 I recently installed these on my track car. I didn't like the course threaded hardware they supplied so I replaced it all with good stuff. The rods are very good quality and I like them. I gussetted the rear mounting point on the frame rail to insure strength in that area. I would recommend these rods to anyone who is going beyond "spirited driving" on the street. DjHoon90 Posted March 22, 2011 Share #15 Posted March 22, 2011 Im very excited to purchase my items from T3.All of their products look very nice, and sturdy. I emailed the company and the response time was great.Picking up their coilovers, 4 of their weld on camber plates, and some other minor things for under 1000... not bad in my book. 70 Cam Guy Posted March 23, 2011 Share #16 Posted March 23, 2011 I figure I'd post some pics of my buddy's car since it has been almost a year since I last mentioned it. He pretty much went all out with T3 suspension. I am definitely considering the control arms and tension rods in my next round of suspension mods. Engine and brakes will likely come before that though. Anyway... alignment at my friend's shop, the Z owner (another friend) wanted the car low.
