Hello,

I advertise alot of items for sale on this site. As one buyer pointed out I do not have any posts to my name and have no feedback.

I have had my current '76 280z for 14 years. It is the only car I have owned in that time. I am posting pictures of it and my engine bay at the end of this message. I mostly post on HybridZ.

For feedback please log onto EBAY where I do business under the monniker;

datsunation

I have 100% positive feedback. I do not mess around with lying on item descriptions or gouge on shipping. I implement the fastest turnarounds humanly possible. It's all about service in my book. Thanks for looking and I hope we can do business some day.

Best Regards,

Daniel P.

I notice that you've only had the eBay 'monniker' datsunation since November 26, 2009 but 6 1/2 years with another. With all due respect and considering all that goes on on eBay, pardon me if I'm not impressed by your 2 months of documentable 100% feedback when there's really no way to track your previous ID history.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I understand that trust must be earned. I changed my monniker to reflect the items I was selling. You can believe what you like about that statement. I have sold lots of items on HybridZ and never had a complaint. And I mean never, no hyperbole involved.

As far as selling on EBAY I find a structured selling environment is a nice remedy to the flakiness, lowballing and general unreliability that one can find on unstructured buying/ selling websites.

I am certainly not selling used car parts to make a ton of money. Anyone whom believes they are going to get rich selling used car parts is most likely delusional.

I do it because it is fun.

More verbiage needed.

I can see by that statement that you do understand. Even you alluded to your low post count here. I meant no hostility; just an observation. Nothing personal. Ebay may be a 'structured selling environment' but I've had a few bad experiences over the years. Due to that, I approach eBay with the appropriate skepticism. All that being said, welcome to the site! A trustworthy vendor is always welcome.

I guess now is as good a time as any to relay an anecdote about a transaction on this site approximately 6 weeks ago.

I happened upon a cache of 77-78 280z quartz clocks and put them up for sale. I had tested and inspected all thoroughly and they all passed muster.

The gentleman whom purchased (he shall remain anonymous unless he breaks his anonymity) payed in a timely fashion and I sent out his clock and he received it in a timely fashion.

He then informed me that when he hooked it up to his car battery and tested it, it would not work, and the bezel was marred.

I was adamant that it did work, one just had to put it on the stock harness and as far as the bezel being marred, I have photographic proof that it was not.

He actually did the right thing and tried to get the correct information in a thread on this board. The consensus was it SHOULD work hooked up to the battery, but it seemed to me nothing conclusive was said and then within about four responses the thread devolved into a discussion about how many ticks a 280z quartz clock is supposed to make.

It went back and forth with each of us holding our individual positions and nothing getting solved.

He started a Paypal dispute and I said okay fine, I'll give you your money back, just return me my goods.

The clock bezel he returned to me was not the one I sent out, it looked like it was cleaned with a reactive chemical, but it was not an issue as it was replaceable.

When I hooked the clock up to my stock harness, it worked.

I replaced the bezel, and long story short, sold it to a gentleman on HybridZ whom mounted it in his 280z and it continues to work to this day.

The theme to this story is not that I was right, but that I did the right thing and returned the customers money, because the customer is always right.

95% of the items I sell are non-mechanical because they are easier to manage.

If there is ever any doubt in your mind about any of the items I have for sale, do us both a favor and DON"T BUY THEM.

Thank you for your time...

Best Regards,

Daniel P.
