Spitz17,

Nice ride and good find! This past November I bought your car's twin in western CO: Series 1, 11/69 production HLS3000471. She needs a lot more work than yours, but thanks to a life in AZ, she's avoided the corrosion problems typical of the NE where I live.

Mine is supposed to be 903 Blue like yours, but was painted in the late 70s in a shade of white that will soon be gone. I'll be keeping an eye on your adventures and learning from your ideas/upgrades.

Definately paint it back to 903!! And link some pictures! Wow such a low VIN :)

Thank you for the complements

Hi Glenn, Rick here.

Love your car, she's real "purty." You had me fooled at first; when I looked

at the first pic I thought it was the #907 (British) Racing Green, which is

what our #171 car is. Then further down, it became obvious that it was

the #903 blue, which is what our #19851 car was. I was surprised that

yours has a black interior; I had forgotten that some had black; many came

with a blue interior, which is what ours had. Thanks for sharing and enjoy

the experience!

All Z Best,.........................Kathy & Rick

Yes SPITZ

Definitely a good find. The performance upgrades are slick as well. Speaking of performance, since it appears your are spending money on such a fine machine I would personally ALWAYS opt for performance over not so functional stick on body parts. The factory lines are sufficient enough so as not to warrant those horrid pseudoaerodynamic add-ons. Instead of wasting your hard earned $$$$ on that stuff put it into performence pieces so that your machine can go anywhere anytime reliably. Remember, HAPPINESS isn't just around the corner, HAPPINESS IS the CORNER.
