Hi guys, its John. Sorry about posting my ad on your site 4 times. I have no idea how that happened. I didn't have any problems listing. I am not sure what I did. Anyway the car sold on ebay with a buy it now of 6700. I wonder if it would have went for more? It was nice and clean but had a few paint issues, however it was a nice looking 20 footer. I am happy with what it sold for and can't imagine it going for any more with questionable paint. I guess the fact that its a series 1 car meant something. Sorry again about listing multiple times. I wasn't trying to hijack the classifieds!:D

From what I could tell you could have gotten more, but you might have sat on it also its hard to tell with how the market is. If I still lived out their I would have paid you a visit I've always liked the green however I would need to remove the role-bar back to fit or put in a racing bucket (I'm a little tall). I hope the new owner likes the car I know I would:)

Welcome Glockrebel. What part of CO are you in? In N Colorado we have a pretty good group of Z-guys that get together for shop time & cruises.

I may be selling one of my 1970 Z's. Numbers match, complete, rust free as far as I can tell, needs full restore.

Cheers,

Glen

I live in the Greeley/Evans area. Sounds fun. However, all I have to cruise in is a Ford Fusion. Heck, even sold my Electraglide. Trying to be patient and find the right Z.

Who cares about what you come in you want to get one and the best way is to know people with the same interests. I go in a FJ right now until mine is restored. Beside you can hide more drinks in your car:D

Cool - you are close by. We'll have to come up with a time when you can come over this way. I can show you my shop & collection. Another Z guy is just "around the corner" from me. I'm sure he'd be happy to show off his herd of Z's as well.

Been playing around on the site for about a month, but never formally introduced myself. Purchased my first and only Z in 1984. Was a bright yellow 1977 280Z. Have been looking for a mostly original 240Z, but nothing yet. I've found the site and members to be very helpful.

Here's a good one for you, Glockrebel. It's actually a '72 and not a '73 and the asking price is $4k, not $5k. Darrel looked at it today and he can tell you more about it:

He and I looked at it today. Really is a nice original, but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Think I'm going to have to come up with more cash to get one that will work for me. I'm mechanically challenged. :disappoin

Oh, I didn't realize that you were with Darrel when he looked at the car today. He may have mentioned it to me, but I didn't hear him since he was on his cell phone and there was a lot of background noise. Anyway, good luck with your search.
