Hi, everyone. I am from Brazil, and an admirer of the Z classic cars. I am looking for a very good sample of the 240Z, year 71 to 73, to bring down here for my personal use and private small collection. After many years working hard, I have decided to buy 5 special cars from the 70s, and the Z is among them. If any of you have one in real excellent shape, pristine condition, all original and low mileage (under 50K), let me know. Another option for me is a 77-79 280Z, but I definetely prefer the 240.

Welcome bro :). 280Z only went up to year 1978. In 1979 it became the 280ZX. There are lots of good Z's around, try looking on Ebay of course and Craigslist California, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona for starters. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you cause there are at least 40 in my town alone :) . ~Z~

Hi Fabio,

Good luck with your search! You may have trouble with a couple of your criteria. Under 50k miles is tough to find in a car that is 40 years old. I would be suspicious if someone is selling you one with that claim, especially if you are not here to verify the numbers. Also, it is harder to find one in all original shape that is also pristine and excellent condition. They can be found but it will cost you. This is a good source of information and if you find one that looks good, you may be able to get someone to check the car out for you and give you an honest opinion. Good luck again. :)

Fabio-

You may want to try to find one of the cars that Nissan re-issue back in the90's...........these cars were subbed out to different shops in the California area and they were completed restored and Nissan re-issued the Datsun 240Z for a short period - these cars do pop up on eBay sometimes - then again, you could always get in touch with one of the shops and have them completly restore a car for you.........all it takes is a few bucks!!

Good luck on your search!
