An opinion.

If you're ditching the SUs, try triple Mikuni's or Webers. You'll get a lot more bang for the buck than you will with what's in the link. I saw an eBay listing a couple of days back for a complete triple set-up (can't remember if they were Webers or Mikunis) for about $1700.

Wolf Creek Racing will supply you with a complete 44MM Triple Mikuni set up with rebuilt, race-prepped carbs, manifold and linkage for $1550. They have been racing Datsuns for 25 years and really know what they are doing. If I was going the Mikuni route, I would go with them.

My 2 cents.

Question, Marty.

What were your reasons for not going with the Mikuni carbs?

With everything I wanted to do to my car, it was just cheaper to buy a different car that had all the work already done. I am ending up with a turbo charged 240Z with WAY more horse power than carbs could provide.

So, my yellow '71 will be up for sale soon.
