It seems to me like there is way too much force required to push up my carb plungers. How hard should it be to push? On my motorcycle its way easier to push up.

My car has initially good power when the throttle is cracked by then doesn't want to go, like the throttle isn't open. I think it might be the plungers going up and letting enough air in.


ATF fluid in both. Although one is easier to push than the other. I think they might be binding/sticking due to dirt. I tried putting in a few more CC's of 10-30 (datsun manual) in the rear carb but it's still easier to push up than the front. I don't have any way to measure effort, but i'd say it like lifting a 10lb dumbell with one finger at the front and less at the rear.
