I don't really like the looks of it. Looks like Paper mache, if you know what I mean. Also, whats the difference between a fuel cell and a gas tank?

Actually, it's missing the rear half of the console. Looks like it was cut off just behind the area where the shifter/shift boot goes. That car is fairly shiny outiside but pretty sloppy most everywhere else.

You're right, on closer inspection it does look like bedliner material. Wonder what he was thinking?

I don't know, is spray on bedliner necessarily a bad thing? A lot of people use it for the durability and water protection it provides. I would imagine it provides good sound dampening as well. He states up front the interior needs to be completed. Looks to be an unfinished project, that has been going through a rigorous testing phase. LOL Bidding probably won't reach what has been spent on the motor alone.

my only thing in thinking about the bed lining material would be that it's a great way to hide an extremely poor repair on a rusted out floor, as it looks like the same material has been shot under the car as well. Some before and during pictures would be great for verification. Looks like a lot of work went into it though and might be a great car. Excellent craftsmanship on the cage and fuel cell, so a ton of work has been done. We have a few people from here who live in Fairfield. Maybe they know some history?
