Hi everyone!

I joined a few months back, before I dropped my car off at the shop for winter storage and a restore. This is the second 1973 240Z that I have owned. The first was in college and I still regret the day I sold her. It has been a long 20 years in getting one again. I was thrilled beyond belief to be driving one again the day that I got to take her out. I was sad yet excited to drop her off at the custom shop 7 long months ago. She needed some repair and a new paint job. Little did I know just how much repair would be required. Got a message today saying hopefully by end of next week she will be done. Then to the muffler shop for a new exhaust. Hopefully after that I won't get pulled over anymore for too loud of an exhaust. The troppers here in WI apparently don't like small fast cars that sound "too loud". If it isn't OEM, then you can get a ticket. Like they really know what OEM was for a '73. Unfortunately they do know that what is on it now, wasn't available then. Oh well. Then to have part of the electrical system redone. It has a Crane Fireball electronic ignition system in it now, along with an engine start button. That has given me a few headaches, so I'm replacing it with the S2000 start button and cleaning up a few things. I'm sure I'll find other things to add to the list, but that is the overall plan for now. At least once it leaves the shop, I should be able to drive it to it's next appointments. Yeah!! Hopefully I will have added some pictures here. If not, then check out my gallery and you will see some of the before and some of the during. Wish me luck that she starts easy after sitting for 7 months.
