Tough to tell from the pictures what the real condition of the car is. The tail lights and the carburetor should be a fairly simple fix. However, I know they get a lot of rain in the NW, so there probably will be some rust issues. Have any of our members in the Portland area taken a look at this car yet? At the time of this post, the car was still listed on Craigslist:

This car is number 478 shipped from japan. It needs some love but could be worth a mint one day. I have some extra parts for it that would go with the car. I am looking for serious people who rely cair about the old Z cars this one is worth restoring. It dose run but it needs some work to become a daily driver. Contact Warren Marks with any questions 503-750-4757"

Interested parties....I happened to "be in the neighborhood" and so I took the opportunity to stop and check out #478. Just for the record, I am in process of restoring #16222 so was interested in this early version (you guessed it 11/69) All VIN plates intact and clean....From a 20 minute inspection, I can report the following: It has the # matching block (#2497) but an E88 head swap by PO. Current owner swapped in a 5 speed but has the original 4 speed..The original "2400" cam cover has been painted over. Owner has original SU's and manifolds on shelf along with misc. parts. Complete front valance is off but on shelf. Original green car now in various shades of green patene and oxidation.....Original black interior needs restoration obviously, missing vinyl pieces and carpets.. door panels so so ...Dash has full cap installed so ....Missing various emblems and other easy to replace items. Current owner replaced brake master with later version did not ask if brake lines switched...aftermarket radiator...Now the better news no major rust in the usual areas...frame rails, floorpans, hatch sill, battery tray & firewall(minor surface), engine bay still green....still "undercoating" present, minimal bumps and bruises underneath some surface rust on body panels, rockers & doglegs looked solid.. even fenders.. few dings here and there but pretty straight....original hood replaced somewhere along the line...car blocked in garage so could not get better pictures sorry...the wooden rear light panel bolted to original bodywork...IMHO a solid base for restoration.....Kind of cool to see.

The owner may be posting again with better pictures of critical areas but he's done a little more research and probably will ask more $$.....Clean title and odo says 73xxx....Also for the record purely an informational post.....
