Hey whats up guys my name is Chris Mota. I just made my account on hybrid z and its a great site been stuck on it for the past two days LOL. Well lets see I am 18 and currently a student. I just bought my first z this past Friday its a 76 280z got her for 750$. Car runs but in need of a tune up it has a automatic transmission but the guy I bought it from gave me the 5 speed tranny with all the parts it needs to be swap just need to buy the clutch. The car has little rust but nothing serious I have a lot of plans for this car setting my mind

yeah you always find good stuff lying around the junkyards. Ima go check if I can find a new dash mine has a lot of craks if not il just buy the cover for mean wile
Welcome. Take it from a long time junkyarder. A good dash from the junkyard will be a tough if not impossible find.

Here is the article Arne wrote that I used to swap my 73 auto to a manual 5 speed. It wasn't super easy for me but it is sure worth it. The under dash work is hard for me (I'm kinda huge).
