I use my 240 only once a month for club outings. Havn't encountered

any problems. I do check the oil and water before I start it each time. Once a cat leapt off the engine as I lifted the hood. Startled the crap out of me.

The car is in a locked, covered courtyard, so no problem the cat getting in.

 Had a similar thing happen to me last weekend except it wasn't a cat (or the Z thank god). Went out in the backyard and thought hhmm haven't used the old grill in a while, might as well clean it up and have a BBQ. Went and opened the lid and there was an ugly grey mouse looking right at me out of his nest downby the burner :eek: I slammed that lid down so fast and leaped back. I about pissed my pants. LOL

Anyway to stay on topic, a month is nothing. Just make sure to use a good fuel stabilizer as already mentioned.

My brother had something similar happen except instead of a rodent it was a wasp nest. After slamming the lid down he turned on the gas and "smoked" the wasps out of the grill. ;) He said it smelled funky (didn't know burned wasp would stink).

Sorry to get off topic, couldn't help sharing.
