That's neat. What are the carbs rated at for CFM?What did they do for power/driveability/mpgs?

Also-how long to get them synced?

Hi, well the system was built by the Bogg Bros in the UK, and tuned by them as well, I have been driving it for some time now, and haven´t seen any changes in correct sync.

As for driveability, it has significantly improved over those flattops. It idles vera nice at 900rpm, en pulls cleanly, on the stock engine it maxes out at 5500 rpm.

Well, it was on the dyno with the stock setup, and it was producing 127hp at the backwheels. Mind you, this is a european 260z. After the mod, it was producing 155hp. As for torque, I honestly don´t know. The rest of the engine is fairly stock, and my exhaust system is still currently "crap".

Mpg (or for me km/u) has improved. The boggs told me this would be more efficient when driving under normal conditions and it has. When hitting the gas however, it goes fast. I guess if I calculate it into Usa terms, I hit about 26mpg under normal driving.

The rest of the engine is stock, okay what's the story about the valve cover then?

What is the bore of those carbies? 38?

Chris

Thought the bore was 40 if I recall correctly. What do you mean about the valve cover? Looks pretty standard to me.

Never mind, just forget i mentioned the valve cover, i got it mixed up with the air filter box.

Allright I´ll give it a go. Sorry but I´m new to this forum, and there are not any native forums about Datsun cars in general :(

Then try to imagine how it is here where i live, i believe there is a German Z forum and i know that there is a club in France.

What is your native.

Mine´s Belgium. I don´t know of a german forum for Z as well, but indeed there is a french and one in the uk.

That is just great - I have always been fond of Bike carbs and I had them in my Triumph GT6. Do you know if they are making any more of those manifolds? I would be willing to buy one and do this to my 280z.

Cheers,

Marco
