Just joined CZCC yesterday. I'm located in southwest Michigan, where very

few remember what an early Z looks like because they have turned to rust, have long ago been crushed, and sent to China for scape.

But I have a surviver found in an old factory.Bought it for a C-note and dragged her home. She's complete right down to the book in the glove box, but with plenty of rust.

My Z is a72, HLS30 8765 totally stock" cept" for the 5speed.

I'm thinking of getting a body shell and start building. any thoughts?

Thanks

Welcome Z dreams. Please put up some pics so we can see what degree of rust issues you are dealing with. I possibly can help you source a shell or the parts to repair yours, not too far from your location. Yep, we all know about rust around here.

Welcome to the club! If it is infested with rust, there are plenty of shells out here in California that you can purchase and use your current as a donor car. However, if your car is fixable, or you have the emotional attachment to it that many of us have, you can stick with it :)
