Hey guys, I just bought a '73,S30 w/ a 2.6 and 4 speed. Believe it or not it's a one owner that he says has always been garaged.

I sent it to a Nissan dealer for inspection and i believe the service manager went over it very closely. He found three issues that are semi serious; "could use" a clutch and radiator soon-ish..the other is a small rust area behind drivers door.

I've done some Formula Ford racing and have been into cars and bikes since I was a kid and I'm very excited about this project. I've always appreciated the Z for the icon that it is.

My plan is to build a weekly driver/track day car. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should start? I'll start with the needed repairs of course and then probably go to brakes/suspension /wheels...does this sound like a logical approach? Eventually Im going to swap in the L28ET.

The car is about 8hrs away in so. Fla so I'll be picking it up in the next few weeks.

I'm hoping to find a cutaway drawing of the engine so I can start to get a handle on its intricacies but no luck yet. I'm hoping to find something poster size-ish and have searched google, ebay and hybridz And I'm about to check this site.If anyone has an idea where I might find one i would really appreciate the info.

Thanks for having me, Chris
