Hi everyone,

I'm replacing the hoses on my 240z and there's one hose I can't find at the parts store because they don't carry it and I don't know that name of it. It's the hose that goes from the engine block to the intake manifold. One end of the hose is 1inch the other end I think is 5/8? Any ideas?

I think what FastWoman meant was that Perfect240Z meant the PCV hoses, rather than that reducer hose? Perfect240Z mentioned the hose went from the engine block to the intake manifold, so if I am correct it may be this one? http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/15-6210 I think the reducer was one of the water hoses that goes around the engine and into the intake manifold.

That's the part. So it's called a PVC hose?

Cool! A match!

Yeah, the PCV hose connects between the crankcase and the PVC valve, which is screwed into your intake manifold. The PCV (positive crankcase ventillation) system is what returns exhaust blow-by to the intake to be burnt off, and it's also what airs out the smoke in your crankcase and keeps your engine cleaner. Check your PCV valve, while you're at it, to make certain it's good. It's very cheap to replace.

Yup, that's the name of that one. I don't think you'll be able to get that at a normal parts house either. As with the one I was first thinking of, I'm pretty certain it'll only be available from a Nissan dealer, or a Z specialist.
