hi guys,

i hope i'm not out of turn in posting this thread in this section.

i'm just gauging any potential interest to start with.

having taken a radical turn around on my project i have for sale ALL the parts for an o.e authentic zg project.

PLEASE REMEMBER I AM IN THE U.K SO ANY POTENTIAL INTEREST MUST CONSIDER THE SIZE AND WEIGHT WHICH WILL BE INVOLVED FOR SHIPPING.

Alan 'the legend' Thomas aka hs-30 has personally inspected and confirmed the authentic-ness of my purchases.

It has taken me nearly 2 years to source these parts from japan.

some parts are virtually impossible to find now. the kit consists:

genuine o.e refinished as new lamp cones.

genuine o.e refinishd slam panel.

genuine o.e refinished and painted (o.e gunmetal) urethane bumper.

lower bottom section fitted with later air ducts (we believe is an early marugen shokai from japan piece. do some research he's the best in the business).

marugen shokai flares/overfenders (i paid for the expensive nissan o.e options).

o.e nos full fitting kit (all fittings and brackets)

o.e lamp covers/stainless trim with seals (1 x nos 1 x super condition).

o.e nos hood hinges.

o.e nos rear centre bumper strip (mega mega rare).

o.e emblems (proper early rare hood emblem not the 280z)

o.e emblems (fender set x 2)

o.e rear boot spoiler good condition .

o.e kmh gauges full set. (hard to find).

o.e nissan competition steering wheel (original early one not the later 10th anniversary. in super condition with no cracking).

these cost me more than $7500 usd.

i will post some pictures later this week (hopefully, but a bit busy with work).

let me know your thoughts. :classic:

thank you.

Amazing seeing all of those parts in one place brand new like that. Absolutely incredible.

If you're selling, I'm guessing you're only looking to sell it as a complete kit? Or would you be willing to sell individual pieces?

Best of luck though, that is beautiful work.

Most of the items have been reproduced by several Japanese companies. I do not know if it is worth making another ones here......Most reproduction parrs that are made in Japan are much better quality in general.

Just a thought.......

:)

Just to vouch for these parts, as I think they deserve it:

Some of you may be aware that I own two genuine factory-built 'HS30-H' Fairlady 240ZG cars, and have had a deep interest in this particular model for a number of years. Don't want to blow my own trumpet, but I think I know what I'm talking about.

I travelled to Rahail's home a few weeks ago ( I was buying some other parts from him ) and I looked closely at these parts - which he is now selling - so I have seen them first-hand. Most of them are genuine Nissan factory parts ( made by Kotobuki for Nissan.... ) and the lower nose - the largest part in the 'kit' - appears to be a superbly made replica, at least the equivalent standard to the genuine Nissan ( Kotobuki ) part. In fact, I believe it is an early example of Marguen Shokai's fine work.

There are many cheaper so-called 'replicas' of the OEM parts on sale in Japan, but in most cases they are not the equal of the OEM parts in quality, fit or finish - let alone the rather more subjective matter of 'feel' The parts that Rahail has gathered however are excellent, and I will vouch for them ( and for Rahail himself ). I could not say that for the vast majority of 'ZG' copy parts that I have seen in the past.

Hope that might help to reassure anyone who was thinking seriously about these parts.

Cheers,

Alan T.

Alan, it might be worth getting them your self for your ZG, god forbid something ever happens, but just in case.

I already have a fair stock of ZG-specific spares, thanks.

However, if Rahail splits the 'kit' and has any parts left over then I may very well pounce.

Cheers,
