Arne Posted April 17, 2011 Share #3 Posted April 17, 2011 Well, they aren't really "factory" as there were no factory mats for our Z cars. But they are period-correct aftermarket mats by AMCO, and were frequently sold as dealer installed accessories. Good find! chaztg Posted April 17, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 17, 2011 I dunno if rejoicing is in order....$20 for shipping? I think the seller was hedging his bets on a low-priced sale. Still, cool period pieces for a daily driver, I'd use em! FastWoman Posted April 17, 2011 Share #7 Posted April 17, 2011 24oz, I feel sorry for you, having fallen for the enormous shipping charge scam. I'll feeling pretty generous today, though, and I'd be willing to take that bad deal off your hands for what it cost you. :pirate: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/39267-my-99-cent-factory-floor-mats-from-ebay/#findComment-353117 Share on other sites

Arne Posted April 17, 2011 Share #9 Posted April 17, 2011 The set that Blue posted was the original AMCO version. Note that they say "240" over the "Z". Sometime after the 260Z and/or 280Z was introduced, AMCO re-tooled to have only the "Z". This latest set is the second version.Yes, the shipping cost is exorbitant. I also get annoyed by that kind of thing. But as long as it is quoted up front and I can figure it into my bidding calculations, I can deal with it. I can't see much difference between $0.99 opening + $20 shipping or $9.99 open + $10 shipping. JohnnyO Posted April 18, 2011 Share #11 Posted April 18, 2011 Sellers often do that on ebay because you do not pay ebay fees on shipping...I have a drivers side mat that only says "Datsun". I was under the impression that this was an OEM item that came from Japan with the car.
