FastWoman Posted October 27, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 27, 2011 This will probably sound horrible, but...It might be possible to make some. It looks like a simple enough design. One threaded hole, two unthreaded holes, a screw with a ground-down tip, a washer, and a bent-up wire. Yellow zinc plating to complete it.I've seen this style of clamp still used for intake boots, e.g. on my '92 Saturn (which I suppose is not really a modern car anymore, although I bought it new). It wouldn't surprise me if someone still makes them. motorman7 Posted October 27, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 27, 2011 If you need some right now, you can pick some up on e-bay, but you need to be careful there. ‘reddat’ sells nice ones, but they are pricey and his shipping is high. There are other sellers on e-bay that sell these with a hex head screw, but I do not believe the cars came with this style (personally, I think they are a poor imitation) . If you are patient, Espirit is supposed to be working on reproducing these and should have them available soon. His work is top quality. Not sure if that helps much. FastWoman Posted October 27, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 27, 2011 Well, there is this resource:http://www.kshoseclamp.com/wire_clamps.htmClamps from 11 to 110 mm dia. I don't think it's possible to place a small order, though. Bonzi Lon Posted October 28, 2011 Share #5 Posted October 28, 2011 I ordered 4 different sizes from Courtesy Nissan, still waiting. All 4 numbers showed in stock, however they told me they were waiting on one # to be shipped to them.Bonzi Lon Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/41192-hey-guys-oe-style-wire-hose-clamps-where-do-i-go/#findComment-370465 Share on other sites

jfa.series1 Posted October 28, 2011 Share #8 Posted October 28, 2011 Don't overlook your local salvage yards as possible sources for pick-and pull. Also, consider contacting Roger Schmidt at Z Barn - with as many Z's as he has dismantled, he may have a large supply of used clamps. Getting used clamps replated is a fairly lost cost approach.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/41192-hey-guys-oe-style-wire-hose-clamps-where-do-i-go/#findComment-370479 Share on other sites

zed2 Posted October 28, 2011 Share #11 Posted October 28, 2011 There are several sizes of clamps:fuel hose from fuel line to fuel pumpfuel line from fuel pump to carbheater hoseradiator hosevacuum line (brake booster)Tell me what sizes and quantity you need. I recently yellow zinc plated about 50 clamps (most with the round head). Perhaps I can assist you.Keith Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/41192-hey-guys-oe-style-wire-hose-clamps-where-do-i-go/#findComment-370489 Share on other sites
