Probably the nicest 280 I've seen for sale in over a decade.

This car is worth a look, even if you're not in the market, I don't think it has been restored, I think it is original.

This is in referrence to the subject car of this thread as I haven't looked at the ones that zed2 linked. I don't think that I'd call it the "nicest 280 I've seen for sale in over a decade" especially after looking at the underneath pictures. I mean, it's nice but I've seen nicer (includiing the one I sold a couple of years ago...JMO). Might just be that there are nicer examples on the west coast than on the east coast. Jared's (DatsunZsRule) recently sold car is nicer than that one. Again, JMO.

Yep, most "good condition" Z-cars that have spend their entire existence East of the Mississippi river would be considered parts cars in California.

At least that is my observation from the years that I have been visiting this site.

Sorry for the thread hijack, but do ALL of the '75 - '78 Z's have a crooked LH turn signal? Look at the picture of the front of the ebay car and the front of mine. My 260 also looks the same, but I don't have a clear picture of it. I have noticed this for years and don't ever remember anybody bringing it up.

Jeez, MY '77 has a tweaked LH lens, as well.

Any one?

Bueller? Bueller?...

It's nice, but I wouldnt say it's exceptional. Mine is just as nice or maybe even nicer. I'm glad it's bidding up well. Looks like they didn't repaint the hatch jam. Rear bumper looks rusted through on the bottom by the exhaust. Lots of spray bomb on the underside, not that it's necessarily a bad thing, just saying. I think the car is "well represented" ;)
