I used Les's spray paint to take to the paint shop when my car's tail panel's were painted to get a good color match - worked out great - best of luck with your winter projects. Getting ready to pull my rear bumper as well for chrome work. I gotta drop my gas tank to get to the pass side bolts. Happy Holidays!

One thing leads to another:)

Took off the grill also.

While I am at itLOL off comes the front bumper and ordered some new rubber strips for it.post-21264-1415081730094_thumb.jpg

I received 2 rattle cans from Les and the colour(Canadian spelling);) is great.

Also a picture of another victim in my brothers body shop. A 72 MG that was hidden away for 20 years. Original paint and steel. Not bad for the salt capital of Canada. Not mine:(

I know here in the states the rechomeing process has become very expensive, is it the same in Canada? I live in Texas and I have been quoted prices like 6 to 8 hundred dollars to do a bumper! I would like to get it done but not at that cost.

I have a written quote for $500.00 at a specialty chrome shop in Cambridge Ont.

Good reputation

Next quote was $800.00:(

The environmental issues have made this an expensive deal.

For this I am getting the over riders done also.

we will wait and see how it all turns out.

Casey -

You got me going! Pulled the rear bumper yesterday and got it broken down - ordered rear rubbers and heading to my local chrome shop on Monday

Mossy -

The rear finisher and front grill was not the same as the factory color of the S30's (if is an off gray/silver color). If you want to do it right -do it the way that Casey is finishing his panels. I took it a step further and when the body shop had my car took the rattle can from Les and had it matched and sprayed on by the body shop and then clear coated.
