What Electric Fuel Pump upgrade???

I have an airtex 8012s pushing 3.2 psi and after setting my floats works perfectly. Thanks to the advice of my friends here at the forum.

I used the K&N pump from MSA. It's been working just fine for the last year. It's not as quiet as MSA makes it sound, but once the car is started I can't hear it.

Thanks. I have K&N air filters, but didn't realize they also made electrical fuel pumps.

Go Airtex 8012S.

The Airtex 8012S is rated 5-9psi at 30gph.... shouldn't we use Airtex 8016S which is rated 2.5psi - 4.5psi at 30gph ?   

Just curious ?    I am looking to add one to supplement my Mechanical pump as backup...

 I'd use the 2.5 psi - 4.5 psi pump for Weber DGVs.

I've been using the Holley Premium Red Electric fuel pump.  It's a great pump, but, a bit too loud for my taste. 

I want something a little less noisy.  I'm running triple Mikuni's, so I'll need something compatible.  Not sure if this one will be any less noisy but I'm strongly considering the Nissan Nismo pump (if I can even find one).  Zcardepot.com has them listed, but, out of stock.

The K&N from MSA you listed above looks interesting..  Airtex is also a possibility...  I do like the simple design of the Airtex.  It doesn't stand out as aftermarket.

Thanks MMaras for input....   I'll go with the 2.5psi-4.5psi Airtex 8016S ... it still has the 30gph flow rate ... so it makes sense!

My questions on elec fuel pumps is 1. How reliable and 2. how noisy?

I really hate it when my brother in law turns the ignition key on his TR6 and all you hear is whzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
