fuzze Posted March 8, 2012 Share #1 Posted March 8, 2012 Hey all . here is what I have going on . I just put back on rd after winter sleep and If i leave the headlight switch turned off ,all my electric works perfect . I turn the lights on and I loose my turnsignals and the interior signal indicator lights both stay on . My 4-way flasher works as new and when I engage the switch while the headlights are on , the interior signal lights will then cancel themselves . I have Dave Irwins headlights relay upgrade for two years now installed and I,m wondering is it a relay issue and how would I check that . Thankz for any help Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/42536-gremlin-lurking-under-hood/ Share on other sites
SteveJ Posted March 8, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2012 First, inspect the ground wires around the steering column. After eliminating the ground as an issue, work your way though the different circuits one at a time with a voltmeter. Do that with the headlights off and on. I still think it's a bad ground somewhere. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/42536-gremlin-lurking-under-hood/#findComment-383311 Share on other sites
tlorber Posted March 8, 2012 Share #3 Posted March 8, 2012 I've found that the hazard switch can mess with things. You might try turning it on and off a few times to see if that helps.
