Talk to Les Cannaday about the correct paint which they used in the Nissan 240Z resto program. He carries this paint for the rear panels, grill and original wheel covers. I also recommends powder coating if you want it to hold up longer, for instance the grill.

Are you sure the WP102 paint is correct?

I sprayed a spare grille with some, and the color looks fine, but it looks like it has metallic particles in it.

Yes, that is the color # I used for the grille, wheel covers and tail finisher, except mine got 2 light coats of clear matt finish. Toned the 'metalic' look down to where it is not noticable. Give that a try, see what you think.
