Have Wilwoods in the front and the SX in the rear of my 240. Gutted the stock prop valve and put in an aftermarket version. Overkill. Prop bias valve is set all the way to the front.

With the Nissan Comp. FIA 4 piston {Sumo Mk-65's as I recall} calipers and vented rotors - there are matching larger dia. rear wheel cylinders as well. That's the set up on the BRE Baja Z - and it uses a 1973 style prop valve and booster. Really great feeling brakes.

The rear drums are at least 15 lighter then a rear disk setup.

Have the non-vented Toyota 4x4 calipers, 280ZX master cylinder, larger 280Z booster, adj. prop. valve and stock rear drums.

Did have to do a small amount of adjustment to fine tune brake bias. She really DOES feel like she stops better than stock. I'm glad I did it, though it's not required for street driving.

Their website lists a set for the 510, but not 240 (Porterfield Brakes). I'd be interested in a set...

They do carry front S30 linings in R4, R4-S, and R4-E. I run the R4-E on my endurance racecar and they work very well. I can get close to two 24 hour races out of a set of pads. The rear R4-S last much longer.

I know he can get them. I will talk to Eric in the next couple days and put together a group buy. He has done this for Porsche guys and he almost literally gives you his price. I don't think he can by the rules he is supposed to follow but he is a great guy and he likes the car-guys more than the supplier guys.
