superj243 Posted July 4, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2012 Hey guys. I know I haven't been on a awhile but its because I have been busy restoring my Z. I finally got all my body work and painting done but I've ran into a problem. I cant find any 10th anniversary wreath decals for my car. I was hoping some of you guys knew where i can find some, or if i can get a good picture of them with the dimensions. I think i could find someone that could make me some if i could just get a good picture and the dimensions. i will post pictures soon of the whole restore process. Thanks in advance. Alvin Posted July 5, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 5, 2012 Have you tried Motorsports Auto? Their site shows the deck lid emblems in both black and gold, code 31-1053 and 31-1054. Both emblems have the availabilty icon, so they may no longer be available. They do ocassionally show up on e-bay. superj243 Posted July 5, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted July 5, 2012 (edited) Yes i checked there. it seems like no one has them. The guy my dad contacted at Zcarsourse told him that he even called his supplier in Japan and couldn't find them. It seems like i am going to have to try to duplicate them. Is there anyone that has the dimensions of the stickers? Or maybe someone could post a pic of them with a measuring tape stretched along the sticker. I am completely out of options. Please help me. superj243 Posted August 13, 2012 Author Share #6 Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) I just called him and he said he had a friend that recently restored a 10th anniversary and found the wreaths and that he would be seeing him soon. he told me to call him back in 10 days and remind him to ask his friend where he got the decals. So i may have a chance. my fingers are crossed...:nervous:Im talking about the guy from Banzia Motorworks. Carl Beck Posted August 13, 2012 Share #7 Posted August 13, 2012 Ask your friend - if his friend can scan them at a fairly high resolution? A good digital image from a scanner would be good enough to duplicate.. IF HE HASN'T Put them on the car already... hall.nathan89 Posted August 29, 2012 Share #11 Posted August 29, 2012 If someone can take a good enough pic, I'll make them for you. I'll look around and see what I can find in the meantime. hall.nathan89 Posted August 29, 2012 Share #12 Posted August 29, 2012 I appologize for the quality, but I only spent about 10 minutes on this, and in the pic, the decal is still on my machine. It should be a good representation of what's possible though, so let me know if you'd like me to persue it further. PM or email is probably the best way to get ahold of me. use hall.nathan89@gmail.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/43726-10th-anniversary-restore/#findComment-400048 Share on other sites
