grannyknot Posted July 20, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2012 1970 240z, will be dropping in a built 2.8L with Z therapy SU's, wondering if I can just use an electric fuel pump with regulator to 3lbs straight to the carbs with no return line? Thanks,Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/43860-is-the-fuel-return-to-the-tank-really-necessary/ Share on other sites
d240zx2 Posted July 20, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2012 That worked for me with triple Mikes. No problems. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/43860-is-the-fuel-return-to-the-tank-really-necessary/#findComment-396255 Share on other sites
Travel'n Man Posted July 20, 2012 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2012 My SU's I ran the mech pump with the original return with no regulator - with my Mikuni's I am running a fuel pump dead headed with regulator. Never had a fuel issue either way.
