stsmark Posted December 25, 2012 Share #13 Posted December 25, 2012 Merry Christmas,My name is Mark and I live in Sonoma County CA. My wife's dad bought HLS30-31990 new from a Bay Area dealer in 1971. It passed to her Grandfather then to her 1979. We drove it till 1992 when we sold it to a local home with first right of refusal rights. Well she's home, unmolested but in need of some serious love. Everything is here like a time capsule, the carpets behind the seats are original, 904/blue. 85k original miles. Drained the gas, cleaned the vacuum pistons, nozzles, float bowls, bore scoped the cylinders, checked the points fresh battery and a few gallons of 100 octane (lives at an airport right now) and she lit right up and actually idled nicely. One more survivor. I'll take some pictures and start a new thread. They are located a half mile or so off the Square in Sonoma in an industrial complex on 8th Street East. Mark, the owner has applied some serious love to mine and he can help you too. Here is a picture of mine at his shop right after he tuned the triple Weber carbs...
