rpcov Posted January 31, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 31, 2013 Recently purchased 240 with SU dome top carbs. Who is the best person in Austin Texas to fine tune carbs? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/45557-240-su-carbs/ Share on other sites
Zedyone_kenobi Posted January 31, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 31, 2013 Um, that would be you. After you buy and watch the DVD sold by Welcome to ZTherapy.comseriously, they are not complicated at all, and knowing how to tune them and rebuild them is something every Z owner should know. I highly recommed their parts and service. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/45557-240-su-carbs/#findComment-413618 Share on other sites
Bruce Palmer Posted January 31, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 31, 2013 Here's the deal with the JUST SUs dvd. There are about 2 hours of in depth R&R&R info that will allow you (if you so elect) to go thru yours with an eye just toward clean up inside and out, Put 'em back on the car (that would be the third R) dial em in (done by hand) in order to see what the basic condition is. It's not a big deal and will help with your learning curve on all things SUs.Oh, one other thing. What are they doing that leads you to believe they need tuning?
