Nice '73 240Z with Original Paint & Low Documented Miles for Sale

I purchased my '71 off the Phoenix Craig's List a few years back. Just like the subject car, mine spent its whole life in the Phoenix area and is rock solid with no rust and has all of its original body panels. After this experience, when looking for another future project, I will always focus on the Phoenix area. It's important to note that a lot of transplants from all over the country brought their Zs with them when they moved there, so be sure to do some research on the car's history.

All in all it looks like a really nice car but a few things stand out. Air cleaner painted black, valve cover painted black, would like to see what the seats looks like under the covers. If they are original you can bet $ the foam is collapsed. Not a deal breaker but when you are spending $12K for a Z you would expect everything to be top notch. A big bonus that it has cold AC!

Looks like a nice car, but I don't like it when people say stuff like this...

this is a 100% original Arizona 240-Z that has only 87K miles.

Every single receipt since 1974 is placed in a binder with exact details about every single service done on this car.

Rug on the dashboard?

Steering column clamshell off and sitting in the passenger seat?

Aftermarket puffy armrest on the center console?

and... Where are the flat-tops? 73 should have flat tops!

For $12K? 100% original?

I mean, I wish mine looked that nice, but... Original what?

the rug part not a worry to me. i have a no cracked dash and a rug cover for preventative measures. for this zed you would ask for condition of the dash before hand.

Was A/C stock option back in the days?

I believe it became optional in '73. Mine doesn't have it, but I believe it could just be bolted on.

The car has a dealer installed ac system and it looks like the original York style compressor has been replaced with late model Sanderson style compressor, a big upgrade for sure and weight savings to boot.

No, but the 73 did have an electric fuel pump (at the tank) as well. The original York compressor had a bracket around the mechanical fuel pump, if I remember correctly, and stood off the engine further. The original piston compressor stood vertical.

Looks like someone added a 12 VDC outlet in the rear bumper.
