pragmatic Posted April 28, 2013 Share #1 Posted April 28, 2013 Hi I have Z that I'm thinking of restoring but its missing one of its alloys. Does anyone know what this wheel is? conedodger Posted April 28, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2013 I don't think that one made it to the US. I've never seen any... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/46393-identify-these-wheels-uk/#findComment-421823 Share on other sites
Jeff G 78 Posted April 28, 2013 Share #3 Posted April 28, 2013 I kind of looks like something Campagnolo would have made, but a quick search doesn't show any that match. Arne Posted April 28, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 28, 2013 I agree with Rob, not something that made it across the pond. Looks English to me, which makes sense. Try looking at aftermarket offerings for TR4 or MGB.Perhaps Alan will see this thread, he may be familiar with them. I'm going to edit the title to hint that this is a UK question. HS30-H Posted April 29, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 29, 2013 They look 'Italianate' to me too, but they also look like a variation on the Dunlop 'Formula' D-series wheels, as seen on many Triumphs of the period as well as the Reliant Scimitar:Canley Classics - Triumph Museum: Dunlop WheelsShould have some casting marks / identification on the back somewhere. You have taken one off to have a look, haven't you? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/46393-identify-these-wheels-uk/#findComment-421874 Share on other sites
Arne Posted April 29, 2013 Share #6 Posted April 29, 2013 They don't look "busy" enough to be Italian, to me. When I look at these I think of brands like Cosmic, 100+, etc.Alan brings up a good point, what do they say on the back?
