Steve,

I just checked the size of the hypojets that I ordered from Keith and they are in fact the same 28 thousandths that you are looking at. I was also running 60F9 prior to the hypojets. You've driven my car so you know how it runs with these.

Of course I also have the Obert eTubes (hint hint) which I think you should consider but only after you have experienced the hypojets. In my case the hypojets got me to 80% of target and the eTubes made up the rest. I think you will be really pleased with the impact of the hypojets.

BTW - Were you able to readjust your timing so that the car runs normally now??

Mike.

I have not had a chance to drive it yet, but it is set dead on 13 Deg BTDC. I will take it for a drive sometime this weekend if I can get some kid free time...

I called up Mallory and they said they have never heard of this before, and that I am the first...

:) Great.

Thanks!!!

I am about to drop an order for 6 jackets and 6 inserts..

thinking of going with the 28 thousands insert as that is about equal to 60F9 which I currently run and am fairly dead on with AFR

No problem. ;)

Interesting. I'm running H22 hypojets and am planning to downsize to H18 or H20 soon. However, this is a stock-cam L24.

I'm building a mild L28 for my other Z and will be using 45s, so sounds like the H28 would be the size to get. Awesome to see others trying out and experiencing Keith's jetting.

I am looking forward to it. Just a shame as I have 300 dollars of idle jets in my carb kit right now that could be rendered obsolete.

Man, just bought my jackets and my 28 thousanths inserts, but 30 dollars shipping!! OUCH.

these things can fit in an envelope!

That doesn't sound right, shipping is supposed to be included in the price.

Just checked my old invoices for these. Bear in mind it was about 9 months ago so things could have changed since then.

In any case, shipping for the jets was free, but shipping for the inserts for some reason was $4.95. Still a far cry from $30.

I also bought emulsion tubes from him, which are arguably heavier than the jets and jackets combined, and he only charged me $5.

I would check back with him. I think Leon is correct - something is wrong.

Mike.

Zedyone, if you decide you want to unload any of your jets, please let me know! Hypojets seem like an interestingly engineered product...but I just put DCOE's on last week. I think I may save going that route till I'm a little more familiar.

Also glad to see the Z community supporting one of the members of my local Z car club! Eiji's work/service seems to have quite the reputation...hoping to buy a head from him one of these days!
