er34gtt2000jp Posted May 27, 2013 Share #3 Posted May 27, 2013 My condolences man! I almost caught my 71' on fire welding the front clip on. Should of taken the time to clear the areas behind where I was welding but I didn't :-/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/46635-1970-240z-dash-and-interior-after-fire/#findComment-424232 Share on other sites

malibud Posted May 27, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted May 27, 2013 Thanks Patcon, I am trying to find a parts car. I have not seen the car but need a windsheild, dash, wiring harness, heater fan, core etc. the car is at the fabricators shop now. He was welding floor pans in and didn't realize someone had dischargered the exstingisher. Of course my worry is not being able to get everything together to work right. SteveJ Posted June 8, 2013 Share #9 Posted June 8, 2013 Actually, the wiring from the 72 is different in many areas including around the fuse box and steering column.
