I was surfing around on Hemmings and came across these. Some are interesting some are really ambitious to say the least

good luck on this one, I'm not sure the same in a 240z would be worth this?

While I like to see the prices of Z's going up, I have to agree some of these cars are grossly overpriced. In particular, the white '73 going for $27,500 states the "Documented mileage: 195,000". Although the 280ZX also seems overpriced, it's a nice looking car!

I don't see anything wrong with the asking prices for the yellow '71 or the white '73. The yellow '71 has provenance if it is, in fact, the R&T car - and it could be - looks just like the car from the Hemmings article but not so much the February Road & Track. Hmmm... The white '73 might be a little high priced but that's what really nice clean cars have been going for. Nice clean cars were being snapped up in the $20K range five years ago.

I have to agree with Carl (although I don't know where he thinks he's going to find a car with 1200 miles) that a 'perfect' car would be able to demand the price range he mentions.

I was looking trying to find out what well restored cars go for. I am all for the cars going for good money. I have seen very few sell in that price range recently, 5 years ago many car makes were higher but many have since retraced a lot of that.
