Escanlon,

I grew up in southern Cal and every 10 years when it snowed 3 inches, the highways became wrecking yards and school was out. I've now lived in Colorado for 25 years and have finally learned to slow down after sledding into a couple of ditches in the winter and snuffing a few Bambis in the summer.

Yep dizzy is an aussie thing.........

I have an electronic dizzy in my Z no problems with the tach.

In terms of reliability the 260z tachs are the problem ones. Apparently they were made by a different company and worked slightly different. Only problem is my 260z tach never worked when I had a 260z and every tach I swapped did not work either. Could have been my car but I'll never know now :).
