Gents - I was surprised to see the picture from Whitehead Performance - it is a shot of my 1971 that they are currently restoring. It is the original cap with the chain inside the filler tube. Both of my 71s have the same gas cap.

My 12/70 build 240 has the same cap. Always wondered if it was original or not, now I know.
