Original Genuine Nissan Fan Clutch and blade / Water Temp sensor sender

Recommended Posts

I want to replace the following parts in my 1972 240z:

- Water Temperature Sender Kit with retainer nut

-Water Pump

-Fan Clutch with plastic blade

-Fan Belt

-Water Pump Bolt Kit

I normally purchase my parts from Black Dragon Auto but after contacting them i have been informed their parts are aftermaket parts. I tried MSA but its a hassle with them and prices are quite steep. For these quality genuine nissan parts where should i go?

Do you have the link for the online catalogue? If so, look up your part numbers and then check with Courtesy Nissan Parts - courtesyparts.com to see if the part numbers are still available. Enter the p/n in the search box to check. if not, you may have to be satisfied with aftermarket items.

You don't say what your problem with MSA is but I've had nothing but good experience and excellent customer service from them. Many of their items are actually genuine Nissan parts and you can expect some markup for their profitability.

I have sent 2 e-mails to Courtesy parts and have not yet received any reply regarding these parts. Do i really need to purchase original genuine Nissan Parts or will i be alright buying aftermarket for this cooling section of the car?

Aisin is a major Japanese supplier, for the water pump, Amazon.com: Aisin WPN-013 Engine Water Pump: Automotive.

Check the other stuff you want, they should have everything.

Does that have the stamped impeller or cast?

$183 and out of stock.

I found that from a google/image search of the part number to see the impeller. $29.79 and 1 in stock at amazon.com, post #4. rockauto.com, $27.79, https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1209169,parttype,2208

Sometimes the image on the website is not what you get, and sometimes they tell that somewhere on the site. Not sure why the stamped impeller would wear out faster, since it's usually a leaky seal followed by bearing failure. Certainly the cast impeller has nicer blades on it.
