After finding a coolant leak around the head gasket area and while I was under the car I noticed a couple oil leaks. So the one I want tackle now is the oil pan gasket. After finding none of the pan bolts loose Iv'e decided I will replace the gasket. I'm not sure but will I be able to remove the pan without any clearance issues or will I have to loosen motor mounts and jack the engine up any to gain clearance?

I was able to change my pan gasket without jacking motor up. 1980 280z. It's tight but will come out. You will need to remove the lower flywheel inspection bolts and turn the crankshaft to just the right position to get it out. The pan bolts under the cross member are a little difficult. I used 1/4 in drive socket with a wobble joint I think. The gasket I used was a FelPro and looked like it came over with the first boat but it held with a good dose of stickum. Good luck with it.
