It is a Phillips pan head type machine screw, if I have a small enough thread pitch gage I will check the pitch later today. On my 7'70 I recently noticed that the M2 screw for the choke knob that I was using was actually too long, the correct length should be 5mm. Using a 6mm long screw could cause damage to the knob if you over tighten. Here is a drawing showing the issue, and a couple of 3D model images: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/49799-that-little-screw-holding-the-choke-lever/?page=2#findComment-487737 Share on other sites
beerdart Posted March 3, 2016 Share #14 Posted March 3, 2016 Here are a few pics and models of the chokes and aux throttle. I have 3D printed a set for my 1970. psdenno Posted March 4, 2016 Share #16 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) The red handles would certainly liven up the interior if one wasn't concerned about orginality. I like it. We're getting off topic as this thread started with a discussion of "that little screw". I will start a new thread for discussing 3d modeling of S30 parts. Anyway here a couple screen shots of the choke assembly so far: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/49799-that-little-screw-holding-the-choke-lever/?page=2#findComment-487801 Share on other sites
