Do i need to replace the rear suspension springs? Car too low in the rear?

This is my Project car! a 1972 240z! I have noticed that the car seems to low on the rear suspensión and always bangs on Street bumps! Do I need to replace the whole shock absorber? or just the springs. If it were the springs which Brand is recommended? Is there a set that comes with shock absorbers that come with springs?

I would replace all 4 springs and shocks, and install bump stops on all corners. The best place to look, would be Motorsport Auto.

I used Chevette springs cut to size and KYB struts all around. It firmed up the ride and got rid of the bang from the bumps. That's the budget build. Of course, I would only do this if you are mechanically inclined.

By the picture, that car does not look like it is riding low. The springs may be too soft, but I doubt they are too short. I used Eibachs on mine. Got them from Motorsport.

I still think the rear springs could be soft. The car does look low in the rear. What Brand of springs is recomendable? Eibachs? I want a smooth ride with the correct height of the car!

If you're looking for stock ride, and height, you'll need to look for OEM stock springs.... I'm not positive, but I think pretty much anything out that is aftermarket lowers the car, and firms up the ride... Your best bet probably is either Ebay, or a salvage yard.

The springs from Arizona Z Car states that they are "Considerably stiffer than stock" not what you're looking for

Just scored a used stock set of 2 front and 2 rear springs from a 1974 260z with 32,000 miles on ebay. will i be able to replace the springs on my car with these ones? Even though they are from a 260z? Any difference in the height amongst both of these years?
