color code for air filter housing

'72 240-z--- does any one know the color(orange) code for the air filter housing or where I may find it? thanks in advance. B.B.

Good question, and one I haven't been able to find the answer to yet....

I don't even see it in Wick Humbles' book....

I'd guess it's pretty close to the 918 Orange... but not sure if it's an exact match or not...

2ManyZs-thanks for the help-was thiking 918 orange but haven't as yet tried to match. Iwent nto my auto paint store and matched the color,or thought I did, with a can of spray enamel.It wasn't even close. It turned out a brown with a hint of orange.VERY BAD MATCH. If you find the color,would appreach it. thanks again for your help. B.B.

My '72 is 918 (Mexican Orange), and the air cleaner is of a darker shade of orange.

You may want to email Ztherapy. They may be willing to give out the secret formula. :classic:

Try Les Cannaday at classicdatsun.com. He has the right shade of paint pre-mixed in spray cans for sale. He also has the correct block blue and the paint for the grille, hubcaps and rear finisher panel.

May also want to check Banzai Motorworks in Maryland. They have the blue for the engine and MAY also have the Air Cleaner paint.

it's red 110 (which looks orange) my car is red 110, and the fender which is right next to air filter is same exact color.
