Stanley Posted November 25, 2014 Share #13 Posted November 25, 2014 Just an observation (no experience with either one): I see most of the pro drag racers have Mallory stickers on their cars. Don't think I've ever seen one with a Holley sticker. Johnny wick Posted November 25, 2014 Author Share #14 Posted November 25, 2014 No one has answered my question: Carter P4070 or OEM Mazda RX7 electric fuel pump?? Just a straight answer: Low noise and able to comply with Twin Hichaci SU CARBS with 4 PSI? Jeff G 78 Posted November 26, 2014 Share #16 Posted November 26, 2014 I run two pumps in my race car. I have a Facet that pumps fuel from the OE fuel tank into a surge tank. From there, I run a Carter pump to the carbs. The Facet pump is much louder than the Carter pump, but both work fine. The surge tank allows me to use all the fuel in the tank and run for two full hours on the race track. I've heard good things about the RX7 pump as well. I would not buy the Facet if you care about noise. What psi are you getting from this pump? I have the same and only get 3.2 psi.
