HuD 91gt Posted March 17, 2015 Share #98 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) Insured it for the year, and had a friend video tape a 2nd gear run so I could hear the new exhaust and carbs do their work. https://youtu.be/Ed16ExeiQFk Edited March 17, 2015 by HuD 91gt Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50701-2015-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=9#findComment-465786 Share on other sites
HuD 91gt Posted March 17, 2015 Share #99 Posted March 17, 2015 Polished and Waxed her. Too bad the image upload completely distorted the shot. It was a gorgeous shot. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50701-2015-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=9#findComment-465821 Share on other sites
240260280z Posted March 18, 2015 Share #100 Posted March 18, 2015 Oh look it snowed lsat night. I'll just go across the deck and get the shovel so that I can get to the snowblower in the shed Maybe then I can go to the garage to think about dragging a Z in? Or maybe I should snowblow the driveway first. Still snowing. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50701-2015-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=9#findComment-465857 Share on other sites
S30Driver Posted March 18, 2015 Share #101 Posted March 18, 2015 Hmmm.... It looks like Al Gore's global warming has had no effect on eastern Canada. Reminds me of my days in upstate NY, best of luck with that white stuff Blue. 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50701-2015-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=9#findComment-465859 Share on other sites

S30Driver Posted March 24, 2015 Share #104 Posted March 24, 2015 When I was in the dash area doing my lighting refresh, I noticed the foam seals on the vent diffuser were shot. Picked up some 1/2" window seal at Lowes, has nice memory foam. Cleaned & replaced the seals. Another "while I was in there deal". Diseazd Posted March 24, 2015 Share #105 Posted March 24, 2015 Installed the new Futofab sway bar I bought for the green 72. Easy installation and really helps in the corners. oranngetang Posted March 29, 2015 Share #106 Posted March 29, 2015 I read a lot of posts claiming these cars handle better without a rear bar. I'll be putting mine on next week hopefully. Did you need to drill any holes for mounting (assuming it wasn't equipped with one, prior)? Diseazd Posted March 30, 2015 Share #107 Posted March 30, 2015 I read a lot of posts claiming these cars handle better without a rear bar. I'll be putting mine on next week hopefully. Did you need to drill any holes for mounting (assuming it wasn't equipped with one, prior)? You have to drill two 3/8 inch holes. I bought a 9 inch drill extension to drill the holes. If you go on the Futofab site, they show the directions in the add. The whole installation only takes about 1 1/2 hours. oranngetang Posted March 30, 2015 Share #108 Posted March 30, 2015 Thanks, my bar(s) were ordered by Silvermine, but shipped from MSA. Will need to compare notes with the Futofab site. I don't recall any documentation coming with my set.
