SteveJ Posted January 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 11, 2015 I hope it wasn't Ron Carter's old car. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50765-bad-luck-in-denmark-race/#findComment-461685 Share on other sites
LeonV Posted January 12, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 12, 2015 I hope it wasn't Ron Carter's old car. Doesn't look like it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50765-bad-luck-in-denmark-race/#findComment-461720 Share on other sites
SteveJ Posted January 12, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 12, 2015 I only saw Ron's car once a few years back, so my memory is fuzzy. Did he do a tribute to the #46 or the #3? RIP260Z Posted January 12, 2015 Share #5 Posted January 12, 2015 That is Stefan, met him whilst he was over here in England, nice chap. A very, very competitive car, running a Rebello 3.1 or 3.2 if I recall. John Coffey Posted January 12, 2015 Share #6 Posted January 12, 2015 Yup. I did a lot of the suspension and brake work on the car about 5 years ago. Don't know if he's still running my stuff. Here's a video of the race in 2009 after he put the stuff on his car. His co driver in the ProAm race is Ronnie Bremmer and that's who's driving in this video: 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50765-bad-luck-in-denmark-race/#findComment-461739 Share on other sites
LeonV Posted January 13, 2015 Share #7 Posted January 13, 2015 I only saw Ron's car once a few years back, so my memory is fuzzy. Did he do a tribute to the #46 or the #3? Ron's is also #46 but a very good, almost exact replica of the original. 26th-Z Posted January 13, 2015 Share #8 Posted January 13, 2015 Great video! Did he win the race? Here is a picture of Ron Carter's car. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50765-bad-luck-in-denmark-race/#findComment-461762 Share on other sites
John Coffey Posted January 14, 2015 Share #9 Posted January 14, 2015 Yes, they won the ProAm class in 2009. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/50765-bad-luck-in-denmark-race/#findComment-461801 Share on other sites
260DET Posted January 23, 2015 Share #10 Posted January 23, 2015 Assume that the Z spun, strange looking circuit, looks like a hill climb track without the hill. Nice to see a S30 in yurrop though even if it has problems chasing down a British Ford Escort and some sort of underpowered Porker.
