Stanley Posted May 7, 2015 Share #5 Posted May 7, 2015 I never use that vent. Removed the plastic piece in the engine bay and stuck a rag in the tube, to get more cool air to the carbs. When I tried to use that vent, on a July trip through the desert, it just blew hot air anyway. Probably tougher than it looks to get the gauge sitting in there properly, though.
