From the article I remembered a girl I dated in high school whose Dad had a TR8.  He let me drive it a couple of times and that was hoot.  Very quick little car.  Now he's passed away and I'm thinking I might try and find out where it is.  Thanks for the link and jarring my memory

So they are saying the fuel injection on the 280z is more reliable than the SU like carb setup on the early 240z ? Uh no...

It's just that most people never cared for maintenance on the carbs, if they did they are very reliable.
